my drive way hasnt thawed out in over 3 weeks now, and my bike wont start either. hopefully its just because its frozen solid or something and will work when it thaws out

Your battery may be dead or spark plugs gummed?

I sprayed both of mine with ACF50 through and through and then laced them with silicone moisture displacing coating. Took the battery out of one bike to make sure it's charged - hoping the other one can cope!

You must be getting terrible weather out there. Over here, it's supposed to drop to -2C tonight but only snow was x1 day. I can see the tide has just come back in with the moonlight over the water surface. It's just so beautiful here. With the central heating on too. Heck - we even have a fireplace! But we're on the top floor and I'm too cold to go and get some wooden logs to roast. Maybe later on the week

Ive never seen it last like this b4, when it started snowing 5 days b4 christmas i thought, Dam that means no snow for christmas as it only lasts 2 days round here, but we have been white ever since. my car driving skills are getting much better on the ice now which is good.


im hoping its just the spark plugs , going to wait till i know i can take it out a run b4 i do a bit of tinkering about as there is no point now as i wont be able to get it out the front gate

Yeah - I haven't seen London as treacherous as I had before Christmas.

I'm out on a little island between here and Europe - it's beautiful. I'd invite you all around, but the flights are friggin' expensive! The only problem .... roads aren't great for motorcycling due to water beading on the surface: there isn't any. It just stays there, and aquaplaning isn't unusual here. Not that it rains much though....

Last time I was in England before Christmas, the car parks were like ice skating rinks. Getting to the car was hard enough, let alone driving without denting someone's car. I parked in the back of the car park to avoid other numpty drivers - had a great slide all the way over to the car and then hit a dry patch and almost tripped myself up head over heels. Doh'!

My mum took me to a carpark to let me have a blitz in her car, it was an ice rink so she decided not too. so she drove around mucking about so i wacked up the handbrake

Generally my foot brakes work just fine on the ice rink car park. it's the front wheel drive A*holes you've got to watch out for: Jaguars; BMWs and Mercedes. None of them have much pushing power when it comes to hills and bumps on the ice
