Actually, the thought of being broke, going through girlfriends and studying furiously for 12 hours a day and living in shared accommodation makes me think ...naaaa Smile

Wow Dan. You're way more sensible than I ever was at 16.

Girlfriends at your age are important! This is when you get to make mistakes without getting in serious trouble. When you're older, it's too expensive to make mistakes Smile

I had to study, otherwise I'd have to do work I wasn't interested in. I don't mind working in something like a restaurant or even poncey Topshop but I couldn't do it for a long time! I guess I learnt to love reading and concentrating on books. I wasn't always like that though.

No way....!

I'd never be able to concentrate on lessons not knowing if my bike is safe on the main road or not...!~!! I'd be looking out the windows to check every 2 minutes for a lifesaver against thieving chavs who don't go to school Wink

Only one year to go then! What you are up to afterwards?

Wow. I'm amazed at how fast the pace of technology influences life. When i was in primary school, I remember the first kid who had a wristwatch. It was one of those Casio multi-function digital ones. I didn't understand how to tell the time with a digital watch then. By second school, the coolest (or nerdiest) guys had a Commodore 64 kilobyte computer. The rest had Sinclair ZX81s with 1kb built in memory. No one ever owned, let alone rode on a motorcycle or a scooter to college! Just unheard of...!

I guess it's all the norm these days....

Anyway. What do you like studying? I did a few degrees because i wasn't sure. In the end, I realised I was more skilled at manipulating creative concepts in thought. So I got a job to pay for my motorcycle for those long hours thinking on the road Smile

Im the only one doing my bike test in my school

I used to wear a watch but then I smashed the screen at school so I dont know.

Geography is brilliant, how long were you at uni for? I ususally think how good it would be to be on a faster bike than my 50 when im riding Lol

Wow. You've got to set a good example then...!

I gave up wearing a watch years ago. They always get in the way of gloves or jacket cuff on a motorcycle.

University? Me? My goodness. 10 years. 4 of which was full time in the evenings whilst working. I didn't do history or geography: I liked arts and sciences, so that's where the philosophy came in - both 'aesthetics' and 'epistemology'.

I'm sure I'd think it'd be good to be on a faster bike if I was riding a 50! But at least you've had a safe ride on it all this time. It's harder to stay safe on a bigger bore bike in the first few years....

Suggarr. Don't you ever sleep?!

I don't want to miss sunrise tomorrw...! Good night.

Ohh I will by making sure my pipe is extra loud for when I ride past lol

I found that with my jacket, my fist wont fit thorugh my cuff

Wow thats ages, how much did it set you all back?

How long you been out of uni now?

bet you got one hell of a well paid job Smile

Yeah but im sure ill be fine on a 400, as long as I dont get to confident, I just want more power to over take, cruise at 70 mph, faster 0-60, better noise, be able to corner faster and get respect from other motorists.

I do but Im usually on here till late lol

Sun rise.. your lucky, rain rise here I think

Good Night

Loud pipes are great when they're not ear splitting! I like the way it smooths out the throttle control so there's no jerkiness at all.

What size is your jacket if your fist won't fit? Some of the Italian jackets are like that. You have to pop open the buttons first Smile (j/k)

I did my first 2 degrees paid for. Did the next 2 on my own - about 6,000 pounds. Out of uni? Lol. No, I work there Wink

I did do a very well paid job. It was crazy. I was paid more than I could handle so I bought my apartment, Honda S2000 and motorcycles and took a year off work just to travel around obscure places (like China) that I dreamed of going to as a kid. The money was too much really - I didn't need that much so I took up charity work instead before going back to teach.

A 400cc is a good balance. You weren't impressed with the RS250's maintenance record then?! (j/k) I think motorists only respect one rule: the bigger the more force. Bikers treat 50'cc'ers fine. Scooters universally have very poor manners.

No rain here. I can see the band in the UK weather forecast to drive down here may be by Sunday......

Night night! what is it they used to say in the Waltons?

'Good night John boy!' Nevermind - you're probably too young to know what the Waltons were ...!

I think ill be getting jerkiness from the restrictors

I bet your bike is very loud Wink

ohh right, your always learning then, you enjoy the job?

My dads mate wife used to be £140,000 a year now she only does 2 days a week, not sure what shes on now though, they have all the mod cons, new TV's all the latest gadgets for this computers, brand new cars and camper van etc...

Well RS250 doesnt run well restricted, I would love one though, Such a good bike imo

Yeah fair play they do respect them but I do see some nobs on 50ccs all the time

Thats what I think the bigger the more respect, so im hoping with the 400 it will be good

Waltons hmm I think ive seen them advertised on UK TV GOLD lol

Setting off car alarms, now thats something to brag about haa

My mum always hear me coming to but its not a nice sound

I take it you have no baffle Wink

Wow is that what you earned a year? 182k? I doubt ill earn that much in my life, If you earned that much you have my whole respect haha

I often think do we need all the gadgets and that etc.. but most people have them because they fancied one not because they needed it, I think I could get along fine with my phone, laptop and bike Smile

ohh ill keep and eye out for them then lol

Noooooooo...!

Setting off car alarms is not good! The neighbours start to pout. Curtain twitchers start to look more squinty. Mysterious nails turn up on the rear wheel of the bike. One of my neighbours, a tart little princess deliberately snubs any 'Hello' from me in a cold and hostile manner. She reverses her car like a crab encountering an electric eel.

No baffles Smile

Yeah - the economy was in better shape years ago. Doing consultation work paid loads.

I still prefer seeing friends rather than spending hours talking or texting. I'm hopeless at texting on a phone too. Laptop + skype all the way Smile

Id love to set off car alarms as I drive past, hmm that gives me an idea, kick the door of the car when I go past, that would set them off haa J/K

I dont know a woman that is good at reversing lol, my mum isnt bad tbh, I though really enjoy reversing, if my dads van ever needs moving or reversing he chucks the keys at me to do it Smile

No baffles is best Smile video of your bike revving ftw when you get back to the UK

What kind of consultation work was it?

Yeah I prefer seeing them but coming on here or msn is an easier way to find out the gossip Smile

Did you catch the sunrise this morning?

Ohh and Im going tomorrow but getting a lift instead so I can have a drink tonight now, soo Ill snap a few pics of the show for you to see Smile

Oooohhh! Those Joness are going to come out in a wolf pack to hunt down your distinctive naughty white bike Very Happy

I've never owned a video cam or digital cam (nor t.v./satellite junk). A mate did take a track shot of me racing once - I have it on my computer somewhere.

Consultation - healthcare Wink

It was stressful but I like the idea of leaving the world in a better condition than I found it in. I wish that was the same for the bikes I ride Very Happy

No sunrise this morning. The coast is like a Brittany autumn. Warm enough to wear short sleeve shirts, but no dramatic light. I have a film camera (my dad's) and I quite like black and white stuff. None of that digital nonsense Smile
