Umm, just about
Its been crashed 5 times. Fairings are snapped in a few places. Only has 2 indicators. Scratches have been coated with permanent markers. Exhaust is rusty as F**K. Silent blocks have been snapped. Brake and gear levers have been replaced with bolts. Bar ends shagged. Brake and clutch lever ends snapped off. Fairing has been melted to the exhaust. Umm I think I should stop there tbh

At the end of the day mate, you looked after it, got good money for selling a clean bike.
What they do with it is up to them. Personally it wouldn't bother me one bit because i know i've got what it's worth.
I can see where you're coming from though mate.

Re: rs50 for sale
Yeah I think like that tbh, Its just shocking to see how much this bike has changed since the start of September.
No offence to the lad or anything but I'm quite particular, I couldn't ride that if it was mine in that state.

You get used to it mate.
Problem is it costs so much more to repair than the bike is actually worth. I'd love to return my 125 to how it was before it had a fight with a hedge but it'll just cost stupid money, which i will never regain and i can't justify the cost on a bike that im only keeping for a year.
It's at the point where i think i'll be breaking the bike come april rather than sell it whole.

Yeah thats the thing with bikes that don't cost alot originally. Might get more for it then mate. Did you mod it at all?

I wouldn't say it didn't cost alot, i paid £1,200 for it 12 months ago.
It's depreciation though mate, i think if i still had it in the condition i bought it i might scrape £850...ish.
I've got most of the panels (good condition one's i've bought from scrubberbay) but they're all different colours so will ned re-spraying, then i'll need to re-spray the tank....
So decided i'll probably just break it. I reckon it's the only way i'm going to get any money out of it. It's probably worth £150ish now. Expensive crash eh....

Re: rs50 for sale
I sold mine for what I payed for it mate, but with 4000 more miles.
Ah I didn't think it was in such bad condition tbh, I tought you had it all sorted. Breaking it is probably best now.

yeah but you didn't crash yours lol.
Don't think i'm breaking it now.
Going to get the 400 up and running and insure that and that'll be my toy/way to work when it's dry and i'll use the car for everything else.
The 125 is going to be my next project. Stripping it to the frame i think. Re-spray the bottom of the shock, common for them to go all crusty and horrible as all the shit off the roads gets splatted onto it.
Repairing all the panels that can be and replacing what can't be repaired.
It'll definitly need new side panels (runs from the bottom of the seat to rear of the bike) and the side panel joiner. I've already got the side panels though.
Then the rest are repairable i reckon so i'll sell off the remaining panels that i bought when i origninally wanted to do the bike up.
The engine will be serviced, clearences done, new oil, plug etc etc. Probably replace the screen as it's scratched and not sure if they can be removed????
Then re-spray all the panels myself and anything else that needs doing. Might even make my own single seat conversion while i'm at it.
Then hopefully sell it on for a bit more than i'll get for it now.

Re: rs50 for sale
Naa, glad I didn't now lol
Having a car and a bike is great ain't it mate, just a shame mine always are at different fucking houses (mums and dads)
Yeah strips it all back, could get it looking sweet mate. My shock went all fucked up too, that was Honda's idea of saving money not to put on a hugger.
Ahh I'm sure you'll be able to pic up them panels cheap mate. How much did your full respray for the 400 cost again? Maybe get the 125 done by the same guy.
I'm sure the screen can be removed, may have to remove the front fairing though. Single seat conversion would look decent mate.
