Re: Come on peoples, 4 people online
I havn't got a viffer lol.
I'm riding a cbr125 atm and bought a cbr400 which i've had the panels sprayed.
I'm still working on it, havn't done much to it latley, can't be arsed. Not able to be on the road with it until april anyway so no rush lol.
Good to be back craig. Loving the new site and layout. Not as jumbled up and only a few catagories. I like it mate.

Re: Come on peoples, 4 people online
cool bourny, dont suppose you have seen the nc29 iv recently bought yet? unless you have seen my posts here lol....
Iv just spent the last 2 days doing shit to it, started off me poping to the bike shop for some new bar ends, and well... £30 later lol! Bikes, there all the same.
Well, i ended up buying a tank pad and a tax disc holder, but then when i was playing about with the bike, i got an idea, basically where the guy has fitted the cbr600 rear fairing, he's just cut the back of the frame off so it fits. Looking good, but the back felt really flimsy and i bet with a bit of fource it would of snapped the fairing at the seat, so iv sorta bodged a frame together at the back to give it some support, not a bad job concidering
Then i finally got it all back together, and noticed abit of smoke coming from under the seat, took it all apart again and found one of the wire connects was all melted and shit, they were shittt connections so iv been and replaced them too.
My hands are sore and i need sleep, ahhh fucking hell. lol

Re: Come on peoples, 4 people online
Mine is like that Craig, I just hope no one jumps on the back or it will be their nose that becomes flimsy. As for the tax disc holder, what did you get? I got like one of these little sticky things that you stick to the screen, but being my screen is fully black its all hidden
Pics of the bar ends too

Re: Come on peoples, 4 people online
Mine fell off when someone tried to pinch mine.
I need to get it replaced, but it looks like you have to buy the whole tax holder unit, and not just the glass and retainer...

How much tax did they get with it Morgan?
On my CBR it was hiding near the front mudguard, on the vfr its hiding in the screen

Re: Come on peoples, 4 people online
about 4 months.
I didn't buy a new one though. Because the new DVLA Swansea (!) system is registered on-line, even if your tax disc is stolen, the police can run a tax check and see that you've paid, even if it's not displayed. Technically, there are no grounds for a traffic warden to issue a fine if a tax disc is no longer displayed, on the condition that it has been stolen or something.....
Careful about that mudguard positioning - it can vibrate the screws off. You might need silicon sealant to stop the screws from working loose....
