Re: Gilera SP 01
Thanks for the coments on the bike. The double filler caps are fuel and other one oil.
Just to explain a little about the bike.
The Gilera SP 01 was launched in 1988, and run until 1989. So it a very rare bike. It was the world fastest production 125 in it day. With a 1/4mile time of 13.7sec and a top speed 171kmph and 35hp. It was basically a GP bike which fitted lights to so they could sell them.

Re: Gilera SP 01
Dont get them filler caps mixed up eyy lol
13.7 now that is fast for a 125cc bike of that era. Soo have you rebuilt the engine to give it the full power it had during its prime?
Any modifications done to it?

No mod just a just a full rebuild going to keep the bike just like it came out of the factory. When the decals are fitted you can't get the fuel caps mixed up.
Taken before i striped the bike.

I love the look of the double filler caps too.
As Dan says...with a brain like mine, choosing unleaded instead of diesel is a hard enough decision without having to worry about which hole to stick it in!
Great colour that Gilera too. Are they Spanish or Italian?
