i once pulled out on a biker when i just passed my test , he managed to divert round me, still feel shit to this day about it, but 16 years later i never done it again, i always look and look again and again, too much probably cause when i was learning to ride a bike my instrustor told me not to look so many times at junctions. u just wish every car driver had the same inbuilt sense. my mum keeps giving me guilt trips that if i die my kids and her are going to suffer, not me. but i need it, i love it and it is my one thing in life thats for me and keeps me sane in this crazy world. (bit deep mabye) . but we all need something for ouselves and as everyone says u could be hit by a bus tomorrow. keep er lit and take care .

I always think about this, but at the end of the day doing anything in life is a risk.

Correct. Everything in life has a risk, its upto you to try and reduce it as much as possible. I came to the same conclusion as after my accident i didnt have a bike and it made me so un happy. Just having one in the garage maybe only riding once a month means I have a reason to work hard and live on. Very sad you may think that a bit of machinary akes someone feel like this, but each to there own. I could live without a bike, but I wouldnt be half as happy.
